Gear

Competition Tool: Petzl Ergo - Best tools for steep terrain and figure 4s.  Because of the angle of these tools, when you're in a figure 4 or on steep terrain you're pulling down on the handle instead of resting on your pinkie.

Tool Grip Tape:

Fruit Boots: Scarpa Phantom Lights -

Ice Boots: Kayland M11+ - Leather boots that I found held my heel down the best.  They have a cleat for the laces at the ankle allowing for separate tightening of the top of the foot and the ankle.

Ice Crampons: Black Diamond Sabretooth - Light weight, stainless steel, horizontal front point.

Mixed Climbing Crampons: Petzl Darts - Super light and the mono points fit nicely into pick holes and cracks.

Competition Gloves: FJ Rain Golf Gloves - Very tight fitting, thin, and breathable.  The breathability prevents glove slipping due to sweat build up and the leather grips well on the tool grip tape.

Drytooling Gloves for Cold Weather: Arcteryx

Warm Gloves: Black Diamond Women's Glissade - Warm, flexible, fit my hands well, and stay on very well due to the tight wrist.

Hardshell Jacket: RAB

Hardshell Pants: Arcteryx

Softshell Jackets: Marmot

Softshell Pants: Marmot
